Construction Products Digital Product Passport
The revised EU Construction Products Regulation (2024/3110) makes a digital product passport mandatory 18 months after the Commission adopts the delegated act under Article 75(1) — AuthiChain issues that record as a signed Verifiable Credential, the same model already used for battery and textile passports.
Why AuthiChain
- Performance, safety, and life-cycle data structured for the construction DPP system the pending delegated act will define
- Records resolve as W3C Verifiable Credentials, so a specifier or building inspector verifies without an AuthiChain account
- CPR keeps CE marking in place; the DPP runs alongside it and adds environmental-impact data the mark alone does not carry
How it works
Issue a unique identifier per unit, anchor its record on-chain for tamper-evidence, and let anyone verify it with a single scan. Plans start at $49/mo.
FAQ
When is the construction DPP mandatory?
CPR has applied in stages since 8 January 2026. The DPP duty itself starts 18 months after the Commission adopts the delegated act under Article 75(1) — that act had not been adopted as of this writing.
Does the construction DPP replace CE marking?
No — CPR retains CE marking and requires the DPP in addition to it, covering data the mark does not include.
